One chilly night in 2001 a young man went out on a night out with friends.
Little did he know that he would be caught up in an extraordinary chain of events occurring a few miles away, leading him to be incarcerated for a crime he did not commit.
Joan Albert, 79, was found dead in her home on the morning of 16th December…. She had been murdered.
After months of investigation and forensic testing, Simon Hall was arrested and charged with her murder on 27th July 2002.
